AlphaGraphics (AG) is Seattle’s go-to print services provider. The team recently completed a series of interior wall graphics for architecture firm KPG. AG representatives explain, “KPG is an interdisciplinary design firm. They have an expert team of architects, engineers, urban designers, and construction professionals. So it’s fair to say that they understand the importance of visual aesthetics in the workplace.”
The interior graphics for their office were designed and installed by KPG who commissioned AG for their printing abilities. The team specified lightweight Gatorfoam board for the 36” by 84” displays. Totaling six panels, the graphics were printed using a Vutek GS3250 PRO UV printer. To ensure the graphics would retain their visual, the team opted for a Brightline UV Shield 3mil Luster as a finishing option.
AG describes, “The six Gatorfoam panels are mounted on the office wall. They are suspended a half inch away from the wall with brackets and wire that run vertically down the sides. The installation hardware aesthetically aligns with the look and feel of the office. Each panel features a photograph from one of KPG’s many projects around the Puget Sound region.”
Gator products are the top choice for interior displays for a variety of reasons. The material has excellent printability and, as AG describes, “Gatorfoam board is lightweight, rigid and durable. It’s the perfect substrate for this indoor graphics application.”
