Although Robinson specializes in wood and wood-based sheet stock, he often incorporates metals and plastics into his designs, depending on the client’s specifications. For this particular application he utilized various finishes of Dibond aluminum composite material for a series of point of sale displays for Red Bull in the UK.

French Designers Create Origami Sculpture Using Foldable Dibond ACM

Technipub, French printing and fabrication specialists, recently completed a Dibond art project using the ancient paper folding technique of origami. The technique in French known as “cocette en papier” allowed the team to fold the Dibond aluminum composite into a swan-like design.
