3A Composites USA is pleased to announce that original Fome-Cor® graphic display board now is available in the ½-inch thickness. Fome-Cor board in the ½-inch thickness allows graphic designers to add more dimensionality and rigidity to short-term point-of-purchase displays, interior signage, and exhibits and kiosks. Fome-Cor board can be die-cut producing a permanently closed compressed edge and can be embossed to create three-dimensional effects.
Tamera Lawrence has always loved circles. “Circles resonate with me; they’re never-ending,” said Lawrence, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based graphic designer and the self-described “ringmaster” of Mobile Whimsy™ Greeting Cards. Each card in the contemporary Mobile Whimsy line features a mini mobile comprised of three circles vertically placed and decorated with witty wordplay depicted on one side with graphics and printed on the other side with words. In Mobile Whimsy-speak, a message of affection reads “Eye Heart Ewe” and is visually depicted with corresponding graphics.

Designers at Vector Impresion Digital in Medellin, Colombia, stepped up to the challenge of creating 12 larger-than-life Reebok athletic shoe displays last fall with the help of Sintra® graphic display board. Twelve images of Reebok athletic shoes – each measuring approximately 14-feet by 5-feet – were displayed from September through November 2010 at all entrances to the Santa Fe shopping center in Medellin, inaugurating the opening of the new mall and highlighting its Reebok store tenant.
