The designers at Parker Design are hoarding specialists, completing a number of construction site projects across the United Kingdom. Hoarding signs vary greatly in their content and often serve multiple functions. While the signs are in place to provide safety and security to an upcoming development, they also provide an opportunity to showcase the impending project to engage the public’s interest.
UK sign specialists, Creative Solutions, are branding experts. Their in-house graphic design team creates customized layouts to meet a company’s needs to produce a one-of-a-kind result. Commissioned by engineering company, Parker Hannifin, Creative Solutions was tasked to design, manufacture and install a series of signage materials for the company’s facility in Crewkerne, Somerset.
Hoarding utilizes a series of connected panels in order to hide construction. Often featuring photography of the upcoming development, hoarding can also feature a more natural approach where it blends into, instead of detracts from, the site. Hoarding can be interactive or have no content at all.
Design Dynamics, California signage and print specialists, recently completed the exterior signage on a historically registered building in Los Angeles. The project was a difficult one, requiring new signage to be applied to the classical architectural marvel. The signage was required to not damage the building, or permanently alter it in any way.
In a massive global rebranding program, the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, Piaggio, established a new presence throughout the UK. The powerhouse manufacturer Piaggio encompasses iconic brands such as Vespa, Gilera, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi. The company rolled out this rebrand called Motoplex throughout the UK with the help of corporate signage manufacturers, Tara Signs.

UK print specialists, The Color Company, worked closely with Birmingham’s Westside Business Improvement Distinct to create the unique series of outdoor Dibond displays.
Luxury South West English boutique hotel, the Bull Hotel, sits in the market town of Bridport. The vintage quarter is known for its lush landscape due to the proximity of the famous Jurassic Coast of West Dorset. The chic hotel has 19 rooms and two restaurants, resembling the intimacy of a bed and breakfast. The award-winning hotel has a distinctive and highly recognizable brand image featuring a somewhat minimalistic design approach.
The Bagg’s Square mural is a 76-foot historical timeline of Utica’s past. In Utica, New York, a $250,000 grant was awarded from National Grid to the Bagg’s Square Association, which enabled the association to develop a large Dibond paneled mural, designed by Michelle Truett. The installation features 110 historical elements including people, places and events that made the city what is today.

The materials in which are specified for these applications vary due to several factors including durability, application duration, aesthetics and price point.
Signage, at its best, has the power to grab attention immediately, convey a brand message, and even set the tone for what’s in store on the interior of a business. The capabilities of signage and what it can achieve when executed correctly is an important part of the branding process.
