Seattle Sign Specialists Create Contemporary Exterior Sign For Local Business

RainMaker Signs, Seattle, Washington, Exterior Signage, Kenny To DDSExterior signage is incredibly important for local businesses. A sign is not only a visual representation of a brand but it is the brand’s first impression to a potential customer. Equally important is the sign’s ability to stand out; creating a well designed, highly-visible, exterior sign is no easy task. For signage, graphics and display experts at RainMaker Signs in Seattle, Washington exterior signs are all in a day’s work.

Local business owner Kenny To, DDS commissioned the company to create an attractive exterior sign for his family dentistry office in Seattle. Serving as an excellent opportunity to showcase the company’s rebranding efforts, the sign experts chose a contemporary color palette for the design.

Representatives at RainMaker Signs describe, “…its crisp edges and bright contemporary colors project a clean, skilled, professional image to match this dental practice.”

RainMaker completed not only the installation and fabrication of the sign but its design as well. The team worked closely with the client to determine the expectations of the project. Wanting the sign to last a considerable amount of time, the team at RainMaker was decisive in the materials they specified.

RainMaker Signs, Seattle, Washington, Exterior Signage, Kenny To DDSThe sign was created on Brushed Dibond aluminum composite material with acrylic stand off letters and logo. The acrylic matched the exact Pantone color swatches of the company’s logo to ensure brand consistency and recognition.

The team at Rainmaker further explain, “Dibond is a structure made of three layers: low density core inserted between two thin layers of aluminum. This ‘sandwich’ creates excellent mechanical performance at minimal weight. The very high rigidity of a sandwich panel is achieved thanks to interaction of its components under flexural load applied to the panel. Dibond is an excellent substrate for outdoor signs.”

Interestingly, the city of Seattle has strict permitting related to any exterior signage visible from the street. The team at RainMaker were instrumental in easing the client through the application and process of the city’s permitting procedure.
