Quality Presence For Dealership Programs

“The brushed aluminum surface of Butler Finish Dibond® Material suggests quality as a complement and a contrast to other finishes and materials in display applications,” said David Meacham, Marketing Manager at 3A Composites USA Inc. “This can be seen in auto dealership displays used by Chrysler and Ford. The Five Star dealership quality program display calls attention to the Chrysler trademarks of DaimlerChrysler, as well as the quality program itself. The Ford Blue Oval Certified program calls attention to its program for customer satisfaction in an impressive dealership display that also highlights the Ford name and trademark of Ford Motor Company,” Meacham added. Displays for both programs utilize the Dibond Butler Finish Material, two sheets of .012” aluminum bonded to a thermoplastic core. This product comes with a polyester clear coat and protective masking applied to the brushed aluminum side of the sheet. Like Dibond Material in other finishes, the material can be fabricated easily with ordinary shop tools.

“Despite its ease of fabrication, the material’s rigidity allows it to remain visually flat, while retaining its design integrity with crisp corners and sweeping curves,” Meacham added. “The properties of Dibond Material allow it to be an effective substitute for a wide range of other materials, including aluminum, MDO board, wood, thick gauge plastics, laminated products, and expanded PVC. Dibond Material can also be a useful design companion for these materials. ”

Butler Finish was introduced in 3mm thickness and a sheet size of 1250mm x 2440mm (49.21” x 96.06”). This extends the product line of original Dibond Material, which is pre-painted with a polyester finish available in 2mm, 3mm and 4mm thickness and in 4’ x 8’, 4’ x 10’ and 5’ x 10’ sheet sizes. Painted color availability includes white, black, silver and bronze.
